Salsadrome & Tango Bar is Wellington’s longest running Latin dance party. Featuring at least 2 dance floors each week with Salsa, Zouk, Bachata, Tango, Reggaeton and Samba being the most common styles danced. With a dance floor dedicated to Tango, another to Salsa (with the odd Zouk, Samba, Bachata, & Reggaeton) and the occasional Brazillian dance floor featuring Zouk, Samba, Forro and other Brazillian rhythms. Introductory classes (2 per night) are held prior to the parties kicking of at 9pm.
07.00pm – Doors Open
07.30pm – First Class (Generally Tango)
08.30pm – Second Class (Generally Salsa/Merengue)
09.00pm – Tango Milonga Starts
09.30pm – Salsa Party Starts
12.00am – Doors Close
01.00am – Party ends (DJ will generally keep going if there’s enough of you still on the dancefloor)
